David Nicholas Lee

About

David Lee is a Director, Financial Services at VA Alps, a branch representing Manulife Financial Advisers. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a B.A. degree and obtained his capital markets and financial advisory services (CMFAS) license in 2010.


Over the course of his career, David has developed his Financial Life Design™ (FLD) methodology that centres around 3 main aspects to Financial Planning – Time, Health and Money. A highly motivated financial professional, David has led annual team events and was invited to speak on the importance of financial planning at various seminars.


David also focuses on the aspects of retirement planning, which aims to provide flexibility and sustainability. He looks to assist his clients to plan their tomorrows today and journey with them to achieve their financial goals with clarity and confidence.

About: Welcome

David believes in a balanced lifestyle and is a fitness enthusiast. He served as a training specialist for the Singapore Airforce at Tengah Airbase, leading a company of over 300 recruits. He was awarded "Best Serviceman" for 2 consecutive years for his leadership performance. He has also participated in full marathons, spartan obstacle challenges and is a follower of HIIT workouts.

With a passion for music and singing, David was a tenor saxophonist in his school (Anglo-Chinese School and Anglo-Chinese Junior College) concert band and has performed regularly at charities, weddings and events, as well as Christmas caroling and community outreach. David is treasurer of his church choral group Seo Deo Gloria (SDG) at the Church of St. Ignatius and a committee member of Voices of Singapore (VOS).

David was also a part of Josh Groban’s back-up choir, sang at commercial productions, church mission fund-raisers and was the lead actor singer in drama-musical ‘The Prodigal Son’ presented by the Singapore Order of Malta. David’s other hobbies include traveling with his family, reading, coffee art and cooking.
